Over seven years ago my wife and I made, what seemed like then, a big leap, moving from the United States to Italy. During that time, I’ve learned the language, navigated the bureaucracy, purchased and renovated property, and built a life here.

I created Buy in Italy to help other international buyers do the same — with clarity, confidence, and informed support.

Buying real estate in Italy is very different from buying property in the United States or other English-speaking countries. Real estate agents represent the seller, the legal process is unfamiliar, and important information is often lost in translation.

Without independent guidance, buyers can feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or exposed to unnecessary risk.

I am not a real estate agent and I do not represent sellers.

My role is to provide buyer-only representation and advocacy — helping you understand the process, evaluate options realistically, and move forward with confidence.

I work alongside Italian professionals such as real estate agents, notaries, engineers and technical consultants, while remaining independent and focused solely on your interests.
